Departures board

How do I find my gate?
Find your flight number or destination on the board; the Gate column shows your gate. Gates are usually announced a few hours before departure and can change, so check again before heading to the gate.
What do the departure statuses mean?
Scheduled = on the plan, no gate action yet. Gate open = you can go to the gate. Boarding = passengers are boarding. Gate closing / Gate closed = boarding is ending or over. Departed = the flight has left. Cancelled = the flight will not operate.
How often is the departures board updated?
The board refreshes every minute with data from the Schiphol API.
Is this the official Schiphol website?
No. AMS Flights is an independent app that shows live flight data from the Schiphol API. For official information, check schiphol.nl or contact your airline.

Arrivals board

How do I check if my flight has landed?
Find your flight number or origin on the board; the status shows Landed once it has arrived.
What do the arrival statuses mean?
Scheduled = on the plan, no estimate yet. Expected = an estimated arrival time is known. In Dutch air / Airborne = the plane is in Dutch airspace / in the air. Landed = the plane has touched down. Baggage = bags are being unloaded and on the belt. Arrived = handling of the flight is complete. Cancelled = the flight will not operate.
How often is the arrivals board updated?
Every minute, using the Schiphol API.
